Damon Green
At the age of 50, Damon Green lives in Kissimmee, FL with his wife and 2 sons. He
attended Valencia Community College and was named to the all Mid Florida Conference
team, Centenary All TAC conference team and was the team captain his senior year.
Damon turned pro in 1985 and as an Associate Member on the 2011 Champions Tour,
he finished 17th at the National Qualifying finals. He has had 70 professional victories
as a player and 8 PGA Tour wins as a caddy. Damon has caddied for Zach Johnson since
2004. His most memorable event as a caddy was winning the 2007 Masters while his
most memorable event as a player was just missing his PGA Tour card by one stroke.
Damon's favorite golf course is Muirfield in Columbus, OH and the Grand Slam, Ryder
Cup and Masters are his favorite tournaments.
He enjoys fishing, relaxing and watching TV, his favorite show is Sports Center.
During his off time he competes in professional tournaments and spends time with
his family. Among Damon's extensive areas of expertise, he considers reading Bermuda
greens and course management as his top proficiencies. His practice habit as a caddie
is watching Zach hit balls and implements a Bushnell Laser and yardage book as his
tools of the trade.
